rss

As part of our initiative to develop the performing arts and entertainment fraternity, The South African State Theatre has embarked on a programme to register and develop community arts groups in and around Tshwane. These groups will be screened, and a selected number of groups will undergo a training and development process, as well as be afforded an opportunity to showcase their works. The groups will further be given an established South African body of works to perform.

SHOWCASES

As part of our initiative to develop and support the performing arts and entertainment fraternity, The South African State Theatre is inviting all theatre and dance companies to showcase for the Mzansi Fela Festival as well as the 2012 programme. The aim of this endeavour is to give young South Africans a platform to premiere world class stage productions that will excite, delight and inspire audiences and communities. Interested companies must contact the Development Department to book their showcase time. Email: Sithembiso@statetheatre.co.za or phone: 012 392 4033
