Presented by Franco Prinsloo Productions (Pty) Ltd, Kruis van Liefde is one of South Africa's most celebrated sacred choral works. Composed by acclaimed South African composer Franco Prinsloo, the production has received multiple South African Music Awards (SAMA) nominations and has become one of the defining works within the Afrikaans sacred choral repertoire.
Created as the second instalment of the acclaimed LIG | KRUIS | KROON oratorio trilogy, regarded as the largest oratorio trilogy in the Afrikaans language, Kruis van Liefde tells the moving story of Christ's crucifixion through soaring choral music, evocative theatrical staging and emotionally compelling musical storytelling.
