Gauteng, South Africa - Get ready to be enchanted by the captivating production "Betower" at the

South African State Theatre. This mesmerizing production tells the story of Nadia, a young girl who

discovers a world of wonder and magic in the Magoebaskloof.

Nadia has a secret, and it's the reason why she's been sent to live with her grandmother in this

picturesque region. But it's here that she meets Poenk, a mysterious and charismatic forest dweller

who introduces her to a world of colors, scents, and sounds she's never experienced before. As Nadia

and Poenk's bond grows stronger, they both begin to reveal their secrets, and Nadia learns valuable

lessons about identity, friendship, and the power of imagination.

The production features an exceptional cast, including Izel Bezuidenhout, Zack Mtombeni, Zinhle

Mathibela, Wian Smit and Ilana Cilliers. Directed by the Naledi Award nominated acclaimed duo

Jacobus and Wayne Van Der Schyff-Smal, "Betower" promises to transport audiences to a world of

fantasy and adventure.

The scenic design, courtesy of Scene Visual Productions, will transport you to the lush world of

Magoebaskloof, where the boundaries between reality and fantasy blur.

"Betower" is a co-production between Leftfoot Theatre Productions and the South African State

Theatre, a beacon of artistic excellence in the country's vibrant performing arts scene.
