Rapture draws inspiration from the sculptures of prolific South African sculptor, Anton Smit. Rapture navigates various geographies and landscapes: hances, places and hands. Rapture is a journey between the shadow and soul. Smit imbues his sculptures with an illusion of movement or gesture, bodies curling up and limbs reaching out.
