KLY [Real name Siyabonga Mkhize] is proving to be an African talent arguably treading the steps of international game changers such as Drake, Party Next Door & Bryson Tiller – with a twist, of course. the main difference is his African flavor and vernacular adlibs on his tracks. KZN Born & Midrand raised, KLY is aiming to go international with this Global appeal.

featured as part of the SAST Fringe Season, is a jazz composer and vocalist from Mamelodi whose work blends music with spoken word, dance and poetry. First showcased in the State Theatre’s Incubator Programme in 2018, she introduced her single A Bird With Melodies, a multidisciplinary jazz performance that reflects her expressive and innovative artistic style.

Award-nominated artist PDotO (Siphelele Mnyande) hails from the historic Transkei, the same homeland as Nelson Mandela—a connection that underscores his unique artistic identity. Raised in Gonubie, East London, PDotO discovered his passion for the arts at an early age. Influenced by the transformative music and cultural shifts of the 1990s, his work reflects the spirit of evolution and inspiration from that golden era. Through his music, PDotO continues to channel his roots and craft a sound that is both reflective and revolutionary.

Leomile, also participating in the SAST Fringe Season, is a soulful singer‑songwriter and composer from Lesotho whose music in Sesotho and English reflects on identity, womanhood and memory. Her name, meaning “one who brings restoration,” guides the thematic depth of her work, which uses music as orature to reconnect audiences with African heritage and lived experience.

Bonafide, appearing as a SAST Fringe artist, is an award‑winning songwriter, composer and rap artist who earned a Naledi Award for Best Score for Freedom The Musical in 2019. His feature offers an intimate exploration of his creative process and provides an in‑depth look into the music and experiences that define his artistic voice.

Dudu’s journey into music began in the choir, where she discovered her gift—a smooth, soft, chocolate voice that captivated audiences. Although she initially aspired to pursue a degree in Psychology, her exposure to Jazz music ignited a deep passion and fascination for the genre. Embracing her talent, she refined her soulful jazz voice and completed a National Diploma in Jazz and Popular Music at Central Johannesburg College (CJC). Over the years, Dudu has graced diverse stages, performing for audiences both nationally and internationally, showcasing her evolution as a remarkable artist in the jazz and soul genres.
